Summary
The Azure Systems Engineer is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and management of Azure cloud services and resources. This role ensures that the cloud infrastructure is optimized, secure, and efficient. The Azure Systems Engineer collaborates with development, operations, and security teams to implement and manage scalable and resilient cloud architectures.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure.
Monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost, and efficiency.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect cloud resources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and implement cloud solutions.
Create and manage automation scripts and tools for infrastructure management.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services and solutions.
Create and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and operations.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2+ years of experience managing Azure cloud services.
Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and Azure architecture.
Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
Familiarity with cloud security best practices and identity management.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect are preferred.
