Summary
The Azure Solution Architect is responsible for designing and implementing optimized Azure cloud solutions that meet business requirements. Responsibilities
- Design Azure cloud architectures that meet business and technical requirements.
- Create architectural diagrams, specifications, and documentation for cloud solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address business needs and requirements.
- Ensure that cloud solutions are secure, scalable, and highly available.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to development and operations teams.
- Plan and manage the deployment and integration of applications into the Azure environment.
- Monitor and optimize the performance, cost, and efficiency of cloud solutions.
- Stay current with emerging Azure technologies and best practices.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and deployment, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of cloud service models, architecture patterns, and best practices.
- Proficiency in designing secure and scalable cloud solutions.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
- Knowledge of networking, security, and database services in Azure.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Azure certification(s) such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert is required.
