Summary
A QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of products and services by conducting tests, diagnosing issues, and developing improvement plans. They work closely with development teams to identify and resolve any product or service defects.
Responsibilities
Developing and implementing quality assurance protocols and procedures,
Conducting audits and coding reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards,
Identifying and resolving workflow and production issues,
Ensuring that standards and safety regulations are observed,
Addressing and discussing issues and proposed solutions with superiors.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field,
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer,
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes,
Experience with automated testing tools,
Solid understanding of SQL and scripting,
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
