The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is responsible for overseeing the development and dissemination of technology for external customers, vendors, and other clients to help improve and increase business. This strategic leader will drive and support organizational growth by aligning technology strategies with business objectives, ensuring the company's technology infrastructure resonates with future trends and customer needs.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement the company’s strategic technological vision and goals.
Lead the technology team and manage the organization’s technological resources.
Evaluate and implement new systems and infrastructure.
Handle technological performance monitoring, maintaining high levels of uptime and security.
Ensure all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.
Implement and mentor teams on best technology and software development practices.
Establish governance processes of direction and control to ensure objectives are achieved.
Identify and evaluate potential acquisitions and future technologies.
Develop strategic plans and set timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of all technical, web, and mobile services.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role.
Knowledge of technological trends and desire to implement these within the company.
Understanding of budgets and business-planning.
Ability to conduct technological analyses and research.
Excellent communication skills.
