Summary
The Enterprise Architect is responsible for designing and implementing the overall architecture and roadmap of the organization's technology systems. They work closely with various stakeholders, including business executives, IT leaders, and vendors to ensure alignment between the business strategy and technology architecture.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain enterprise architecture strategy, principles, and guidelines,
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions,
Evaluate and recommend hardware and software technologies,
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to implement new solutions,
Ensure technology solutions are in alignment with enterprise architecture strategy,
Conduct regular architecture reviews and audits,
Provide architectural governance, reviewing projects to ensure alignment with architectural vision,
Communicate and educate stakeholders on enterprise architecture strategy.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field,
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in an architectural or senior technical role,
Strong understanding of architectural principles and frameworks,
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills,
Certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF are preferred.
