Summary
The Agile Champion is responsible for promoting and implementing agile methodologies within an organization. They act as a coach and mentor to teams, helping them adopt and improve agile practices to enhance productivity and deliver value more efficiently.
Responsibilities
Promote agile values and principles within the organization,
Coach teams on agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean,
Facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure effective execution,
Assist with the creation and maintenance of product backlogs,
Help teams identify and remove impediments,
Work with other organizational leaders to create an environment that supports agile practices,
Measure and report on the progress of agile adoption and team performance.
Qualifications and Requirements
Proven experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master,
Strong understanding of various agile methodologies and frameworks,
Excellent communication and facilitation skills,
Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization,
Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., CSM, SAFe) is preferred.
