Summary
The Cybersecurity Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the cyber security architecture of the organization. They play a critical role in safeguarding the company's data to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information.
Responsibilities
Oversees configuration and installation of the most complex information systems
Conduct security assessments and audits
Develop security policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with legal and industry standards
Evaluate new security technologies and solutions
Collaborate with other IT departments for seamless security integration
Stay current on IT security trends and news,
Develop best practices for IT security
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field,
Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SANS GIAC/GPEN or other relevant certifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in information security
Experience in cloud security, network security, and endpoint security
Strong knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and incident response
Familiarity with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery processes
Familiarity with one or more coding languages
Familiarity with application threat modeling secure development best practices
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
