Summary
The IT Manager oversees and ensures the smooth and efficient running of an organization's computer systems, networks, and IT infrastructure. They are responsible for IT strategy development, implementation of IT solutions, and managing IT staff.
Responsibilities
Lead the IT department's operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation and project management,
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures,
Oversee IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks,
Manage and mentor IT staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation,
Budget preparation and monitoring for the IT department,
Coordinate IT activities to ensure data availability and network services,
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend suitable IT solutions.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field,
Minimum of 5 years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role,
Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and IT security,
Excellent leadership and team management skills,
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously,
Project management and vendor management experience.
