Summary
The Azure Engineer focusing on Platform as a Service (PaaS) will design, implement, and manage Azure PaaS solutions to support business applications. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Azure services, infrastructure as code, DevOps practices, and a strong understanding of cloud architecture. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient and secure cloud environments while adhering to industry best practices.
Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage Azure PaaS solutions including App Services, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps.
Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Azure Bicep.
Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Optimize cloud solutions for cost, performance, and security.
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud services and applications.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate Azure services into applications.
Stay updated with the latest Azure services and features to provide innovative solutions.
Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience managing and deploying Azure PaaS solutions.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or CLI.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Azure certification (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Developer, or Azure Solutions Architect) is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
