The NodeJS Software Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js. This role involves working closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements, designing and implementing API services, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.
Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining scalable server-side applications using Node.js.
Designing and implementing RESTful APIs to support front-end functionalities.
Collaborating with front-end developers on integrating user-facing elements.
Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
Implementing security and data protection measures.
Troubleshooting and debugging applications.
Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Contributing to the improvement of the development process and practices.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Proven experience as a Node.js developer.
Strong understanding of JavaScript and ES6+ features.
Experience with RESTful API design and development.
Knowledge of Node.js frameworks (e.g., Express, Koa).",
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
Understanding of asynchronous programming, its quirks, and workarounds.
Proficiency in code versioning tools, such as Git.
Experience with databases (NoSQL and/or SQL) and their declarative query languages.
