Summary
A JavaScript Developer is responsible for implementing the front-end logic that defines the behavior of the visual elements of a web application. They are also involved in connecting this with the services that reside on the back-end.

Developing new user-facing features,
Building reusable code and libraries for future use,
Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability,
Assuring that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services,
Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field,
Proven understanding of JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model,
Understanding of React.js and its core principles,
Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux),
Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript,
Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js),
Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus,
Familiarity with RESTful APIs,
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token,
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools,
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements,
A knack for benchmarking and optimization
