Expected Behaviors
Fundamental Awareness
At the fundamental awareness level, individuals have a basic understanding of data quality concepts and Informatica Developer Tool. They are familiar with data profiling concepts and understand basic data cleansing techniques. This level is typically for beginners who are just starting to learn about Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
Novice
Novices can create and run basic data quality mappings and have knowledge of data quality transformation. They understand reference tables and can use Data Explorer for data profiling. They also have an understanding of match transformation. At this level, individuals have moved beyond basic understanding and can perform simple tasks in IDQ.
Intermediate
Intermediate users have proficiency in advanced data quality transformations and can implement data standardization. They have experience with address validation and understand human task and workflow. They can use Analyst Tool for data profiling and know how to handle exceptions in IDQ. At this level, individuals can handle more complex tasks and troubleshoot common issues.
Advanced
Advanced users have expertise in complex data quality mappings and can create custom rules. They have experience with data quality scorecards and can implement data quality plans. They understand metadata management in IDQ and know about data domain discovery. At this level, individuals can handle complex scenarios and design solutions within IDQ.
Expert
Experts have mastery over end-to-end data quality processes and can design and implement complex data quality solutions. They have experience with data governance using IDQ and can tune performance of data quality jobs. They can integrate IDQ with other systems and train and mentor others on IDQ. At this level, individuals are considered authorities in IDQ and can handle any scenario or challenge.
