Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable, high-performance fintech applications and APIs.
Implement security and compliance best practices in financial software systems.
Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to deliver financial products.
Integrate third-party interfaces such as payment gateways, KYC/AML providers, and core banking systems.
Optimize systems for regulatory compliance (PCI DSS, PSD2, SOX, GDPR, etc.).
Maintain and monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes.
Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and mentoring junior engineers.
Stay updated on fintech trends, emerging technologies, and financial regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
Proven experience (2+ years) in software development, preferably in the financial industry.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
Experience with financial APIs, payment processors, and/or blockchain technologies.
Understanding of financial protocols, standards, and regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, PSD2, KYC, AML).
Familiarity with database design (SQL or NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for fintech.
Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
